Best Fuel System Components for 2013-2017 Holden VF Commodore
The VF runs LS2 or LS3 depending on the variant, and the factory fuel system is fine until you start making real power. Cam swaps, forced induction, and full engine builds all expose the same weak points: factory lines that weren't rated for sustained elevated flow, pump mounts that don't accommodate upgraded in-tank units, and fittings that weep under pressure or collapse under vacuum.
Fixing it properly means AN-rated braided hose throughout — engine bay and underbody runs both. Proflow's range covers the common line sizes and bend configurations for LS applications. Pick your standard upfront. Mixing AN and push-lock fittings mid-run creates failure points you don't want near a hot exhaust tunnel.
Filter mounts and line clamps are easy to skip on the budget sheet. Don't. The VF's engine bay is tight and the subframe geometry is specific — generic universal mounts need rework to sit cleanly. Buy the right part once.
If you're running an external surge tank or an upgraded in-tank pump, use mounts designed for LS-series fitment. The fabrication time you save is worth more than the price difference over universal hardware.
Sort the fuel system before you tune. A lean condition at peak load on an LS3 making 400rwkW doesn't give you a second chance.
