Important Notice
All warranties, returns, and refunds are handled directly by the product manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms and conditions. TrackTheory will assist in facilitating warranty claims and returns where possible.
Australian Consumer Law
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this returns policy. Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:
- A refund or replacement if goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match the description
- Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- Have faults repaired or receive a refund if the item cannot be repaired
These rights apply in addition to any manufacturer warranties and cannot be excluded.
Change of Mind Returns
Change of mind returns are subject to manufacturer policies and the following conditions:

- Item must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- All original tags, labels, and documentation must be included
- Item must be in resalable condition
- Return must be initiated within the manufacturer's specified return period
- Proof of purchase must be provided
✗ Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-made or specially ordered items
- Items that have been installed, used, or modified
- Electrical items that have been opened or used
- Items without original packaging or documentation
- Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty)
- Items marked as non-returnable at time of purchase
⚠ Restocking Fees
Change of mind returns may be subject to restocking fees as determined by the manufacturer, typically ranging from 15-25% of the purchase price. Restocking fees help cover inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact Us
Email support@tracktheory.com.au with your order number, item details, and reason for return. Include photos if the item is faulty or damaged.
Return Authorization
We will review your request and liaise with the manufacturer. If approved, we'll provide you with return instructions and a Return Authorization (RA) number.
Package the Item
Carefully repackage the item in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Include the RA number inside the package.
Ship the Return
Ship the item using the method specified in your return authorization. Keep your tracking number and proof of postage until the return is processed.
Processing & Refund
Once received, the manufacturer will inspect the item. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days to your original payment method.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item:
Report Immediately
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Late reports may not be accepted for physical damage claims.
- Take clear photos of the item and packaging showing the damage or fault
- Do not install or use the faulty item
- Keep all packaging and documentation
- Provide your order number and item details
For faulty or damaged items:
- No restocking fees apply
- Return shipping costs will be covered
- You will receive a full refund, replacement, or repair (as appropriate)
- Processing is handled according to manufacturer warranty terms
Manufacturer Warranty Claims
All products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage varies by brand and product type.
- Warranty periods range from 12 months to lifetime coverage depending on the manufacturer
- Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase
- The manufacturer will determine if an issue is covered under warranty
- Installation errors or misuse are typically not covered
- Racing or track use may void some warranties - check manufacturer terms

Refund Processing
Once your return is approved by the manufacturer:
Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method
Processing Time: 7-14 business days after return approval
Bank Processing: Your bank may take an additional 3-5 business days to process the refund
Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
Note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns. If you received free shipping or a shipping discount, the actual shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
Incorrect Item Received
If you receive the wrong item due to our error:
- Contact us immediately - do not install or use the item
- We will arrange for the correct item to be sent at no cost
- We will provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item
- No restocking fees or return shipping charges apply
- Priority processing will be given to resolve the issue quickly
Exchanges
Direct exchanges are subject to manufacturer policies and product availability:
- Contact us to request an exchange for a different size, color, or variant
- The item must meet all return eligibility requirements
- Exchanges are processed as a return and new purchase
- Price differences may apply if the exchanged item has a different cost
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability
